Do i need a new coil on my atv?

iits a 4 stroke 50cc atv (gio i think), i bought it then a day later after i washed it, iit wont work now (its been llike 3days since not working) so whhts up?, i have took it apart and clean everything nd check to see if any wires were wet but they r not. i cleaned the carb yesterday.. even Went out and bought a new spark plug and still wont turn on, it sounds like it trys to but just doesnt :(
