Should I push through with telling him this or not?

Last Friday, I've had the biggest argument thus far with a boy I have a "more than friends, less than lovers" kind of thing going on. It was so huge that we were arguing like a married couple. Thank goodness we called a truce before going to bed! He's out of town with his family right now and I've been doing doing a lot of thinking. I want to start over on a clean slate with him. As in, re-introduction... Getting to know each other... Fun and innocent flirting... Touchy-feely stuff with no deep emotional attachment whatsoever... that sort of thing. How do I say this in a civilized and mature way without coming across as desperate?
