Need help, Helping family?

Ok, My grandmother had a stroke so my mom ask me to move in with her to help with grandmother, well i have been here for about a year and for some reason it seems like me and my dad are fighting more and more im 43 hes 64 i cant leave are they will have to put her in a home don't know what to do.
